pfeil How can I get the application? - RagTime 6 Beta 6 is available for Windows and Mac OS X. Both packages contain the languages English, French, German and Dutch. Please select the download for your operating system.

pfeil Important: In order to help us analyse and eliminate problems that cause Ragtime to crash under Windows we create a log file. This log file contains information about your system configuration and the momentary state of RagTime when it crashed. Upon crashing, Ragime 6 will ask if it may send the log file to us via E-mail. Upon acceptance the log file will be passed to your email program, where it is attached to a new message. Please add to this message a short explanation of what you were doing with Ragtime just before the crash occurred. By sending this information you can help us to eliminate crash bugs from Ragtime.

pfeil What's a "beta version"? - A beta version of a program is an unfinished prerelease. The new features can be used but the user interface will get some fine tuning still and we are looking for bugs in the software now. Some bugs are already known to us, but chances are that there are more.

pfeil Why a public beta test? - A public beta test serves two purposes: It gives you as a user all necessary information about the upcoming release as early as possible. It will improve the quality of the final version due to bug information sent to us by real users. By telling us about problems you found, you take part in that process of improving the software. We maintain a list of bugs we can reproduce, see link below.

pfeil System Requirements - Windows: RagTime 6 requires Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Installation of the latest service packs is recommended.
Macintosh: RagTime 6 requires OS X 10.3.5 or later. Recommended is 10.3.9 or later. Note: There is no RagTime 6 version for OS 9 or earlier.
